ARCHITECTURE FOR MISSION-DRIVEN ORGANIZATIONS

EMAS works with nonprofits, healthcare providers, and schools to turn program needs, operational constraints, and project goals into spaces that are clear, functional, and built for long-term use.

Nonprofits

Community organizations | Social services | FoundationsMission-aligned spaces that work day to day — and stand up to boards, funders, and approvals. EMAS helps nonprofits turn program needs and operational constraints into a clear, realistic project path, often before design officially starts.

HEALTHCARE

Community | Outpatient | Behavioral health | Healthcare-adjacentOperationally precise, regulation-aware spaces that support care delivery and staff experience. EMAS works with providers to align patient flow, clinical operations, and compliance requirements — without losing sight of dignity, clarity, and calm.

Education

K–12 | Independent schools | Higher-ed adjacentLearning environments designed for real schedules, evolving programs, and long-term stewardship. EMAS helps schools modernize spaces and plan improvements that fit how students and educators actually use the building — today and five years from now.

Eniko Marton, AIA, is a New York–licensed architect and founder of EMAS, with more than two decades of experience across nonprofit, healthcare, education, workplace, commercial, and residential projects. Her work is grounded in careful listening, structured problem-solving, and technical rigor, with a practical belief that architecture should help people and organizations function better. EMAS is intentionally small and principal-led, so clients work directly with Eniko from early planning and test-fits through permitting, documentation, and construction-phase problem-solving.

Founder’s Note

"EMAS was created to help mission-driven organizations make better decisions about space — especially when care, education, funding requirements, day-to-day operations, and physical constraints all intersect. The right first step might be a test fit, a feasibility study, a phasing strategy, or a funding support package. EMAS helps clients define a clear path forward and move into design with confidence."
